SHREE RAJ SAUBHAG AASHRAM AT SAYLA, GUJARAT

Rooted in the spiritual ethos of Jainism, the landscape design for the Ashram at Sayla is a serene, thoughtful extension of its core principles and *nava tattva*. The design seamlessly integrates natural elements with purposeful spaces, fostering reflection, wellness, and community connection.

The layout honours the values of *non-violence (ahimsa)*, *truth (satya)*, *non-possessiveness (aparigraha)*, and *inner purity*, ensuring that every space—from paths to pavilions—encourages mindfulness and harmony with nature.

A *grand entrance* sets a reverent tone, leading into *shaded pathways* that promote walking in contemplation and comfort. The *meditation zones* and *yoga decks* are carefully placed within quiet green pockets to support inner stillness and breath-aligned movement. A *gym* has also been incorporated with simplicity in design, promoting wellness that aligns with discipline.

Children have been thoughtfully included with a *dedicated play area*, while *a central Pravachan space* has been created with respect for the spiritual anchor of the ashram—*Guruji*—allowing for community gatherings and discourses in an open yet peaceful setting.

Overall, the landscape embodies balance—between movement and stillness, shade and sunlight, activity and reflection—mirroring the spiritual journey that this sacred place intends to nurture.

The project is of total 9 acres and we're currently designing Phase 1 for the project.
